My reason to watch this movie is because I am a fan of Ms.Ryder. I watched it and I liked it. New York City is beautiful in every season. Although the story is a little unnatural for me because this movie has a strong focus on two people (Will and Charlotte). I mean their friends and family only garnished their plate of romance. And this movie is a little surreal for me because of Will's personality. I can't imagine how a bad person like Will changed his mind so completely and be a good man at the end. But I still like this movie. Confrontation of someone's death is very sad. And it makes me rethink what I don't think so often. And I love some lines. Some are actually very funny. Charlotte's honesty saves everything in this movie. Worst movie I have ever seen
I have seen thousands of movies, and a few of them have been really bad. But none of them (except for maybe the remake of rollerball) can compare to this one. This is so bad I cringe from the beginning to end. Terrible dialogue, terrible acting from usually good actors, terrible script, everything is bad. The only thing worth seeing in this movie is the backgrounds, the city. THe movie was worse than one can describe, DO NOT WATCH IT! Most predictable, formulaic, pablum I've seen recently
And I love Richard Gere. After the first 10 minutes or so, I predicted every plot move well before it happened, even predicted the full plot almost down to the scene. So glad I only paid $3 for this puppie; but even that was a waste. That said, I loved the opening central park flyover with Diana Krall singing "Let's Fall In Love."
