A Great American Film
Eve Harrington impresses and deceives a group of theatre people in order to make a career for herself. A film for the ages. Great dialogue and great acting from Bette Davis and excellent support from the rest of the cast make for a classic film that is unique in film history. That the behavior of the Eve Harrington character isn't always logical, and that the use of process photography dates the film are the only things that keep it from being a masterpiece.
