Holy Cow - Totally Blown Away!
First of all, I'm not much of a country music fan. With that said, I happened to tune in the high density channel HDnet and caught a telecast of this DVD. I had never heard of Alison and Union Station. I was immediately in total shock. My jaw dropped in disbelief. Never in my life have I seen such quality and talent. Alison's voice is one of the finest I've ever heard, and the talent of each individual performer is astonishing. If you enjoy music of any genre, you owe it to yourself to buy this DVD. I just did and I can't wait to experience the magic again. Alison and Union Station are truly a national treasure!
Excellent Introduction to AKUS
As a new fan of AKUS, I found this DVD a great way to get to know this outstanding ensemble. The two disc set shows not only the on-stage performance, but also gives some insight to each talented member of the group. I plan to copy the tunes from the DVD to my Itunes library so I can play the music while surfing the web. The DVD is a great bargain because you get the video performance for only a couple bucks more than the CD's.
