A Nightmare on Elm Street Reviews

1,2 Freddy's Coming For You FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY!
This movie to Freddy Kruger one of the most notorious killers in history next to Jason, and Michael Myers. NOEL made very many people scared to go to sleep. This one is the only true scary movie the others are all comedy. This movie was dark and mysterious plus it had some gore. It also has one of the most memerable scenes ever when Johnny Depp's character gets pulled under the bed and all that blood pours out. This is a worth while movie to have.

Best horror movies in A VERY LONG LINE of them FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY! FULL SKULL BABY!
1,2 FREDDYS COMING FOR YOU

Let me start this by saying that this has to be the scariest and best horror movie I've ever seen. Maybe even the best plot in a horror movie, not as far-fetched as alot of them like some of the later Nightmare on Elm Street sequals or the Jaws sequals. This plot is simple, direct but scary.

3,4 BETTER LOCK YOUR DOOR

A Nightmare on Elm Street is directed by Wes Craven and has a great cast including John Saxon and Ronee Blakely as the concerned parents of a troubled teenager, Heather Langenkamp as the main charecter, Amanda Wyss, Nick Corri and Johnny Depp in his first movie as troubled teens plagued by horrible nightmares. And of course, Robert Englund as the unforgettable Fred Krueger, stalking the charecters in their dreams in a dirty Christmas sweater and hat and 'claws.' This is really an A-list cast and all the actors play their parts really well.

5,6 GRAB YOUR CRUCIFIX

The plot involves a recently deceased child-murderer who is killed by a mob of vengeful parents, targets the mobs kids in their dreams. What makes it even more scary is you can never tell what is real or a dream. One of the scariest dreams features Amanda Wyss being chased through her own backyard. The atmosphere and landscape is great, each filled with shadows and their own ambience giving it an even scarier and creepier look, espicially the classic setting of the boiler room. Seeing Fred 'Freddy' chasing them through their dreams or even seeing him is enough to scare the living daylights out of anyone.

7,8 BETTER STAY UP LATE

There is gore, but not in that many scenes, maybe in two or three scenes. But when ever there is gore, get ready to cover your eyes, there is enough gore for the gore scenes for multiple people, almost to the point of comical. Not all the death scenes feature gore though, for instance when one of the victims gets hung by bed covers. I would recommend this movie not suitable for kids under 10, even if it says 'R'. For people bold enough to handle it, its find but you NEVER get through this movie without getting scared-DON'T FALL ASLEEP!

9,10 NEVER SLEEP AGAIN

Overall, this movie is pure classic. If truth be told I have not seen any of the sequals except a scene in the second one (the exploding parakeet was REALLY lame). Based on reviews, I wouldn't watch the sequals but definately try the original.
