not fun
well,first i must tell you that this is not a comedy film...there is a bit of humuor in the movie.but seriously the situations are not that funny...and the acting is very ordinary stuff.i dont understand why other crits went over praising this very ordinary tv serial type film.i read some reviews here at amazon and decided to watch it on this weekend.i am totally disappointed...I would recommend this movie to girls and women who like and concerned about trend,fashion,dress...

only the saving grace is jennifer garner...hence 1 star


don't be fooled
I would have never watched this movie had my sister not rented it. I thought it was just going to be another version of Big. While the element of instantly growing up is the same, the issues that both movies deal with are different (spoilers ahead). Jenna wishes for everything that society deems cool. This includes being a Six Chick (even though those girls aren't that nice to her in the first place), dating Chris Grandy and being "30, flirty and thriving" like the women in Poise Magazine. She gets everything she wants and more but not her best friend Matt. I wonder what kind of hazing Jenna went through in order to become a Six Chick.

Jennifer Garner's performance is very endearing, especially when she shows her gifts for physical comedy. While corny at times (i.e., whenever they make references to Love is a Battlefield), the movie has a depth that most romantic comedies don't have. How can anyone not be moved by Jenna's speech when she proposes her redesign for Poise?

The best ever!
I truly adore this movie. It was really sweet and fun. You will love this movie because it just fun to watch.
